From Plain Jane to Gothic Chick. Which Makeup Style Do You Fancy?

Recently Pixie Makeup teams up with Futagoza Studio for a photoshoot. This photoshoot is to test out some ideas the photographers had and also for us to let our hands and mind go wild! haha… well at least we can do any style that we fancy as long as it suits the concept 🙂

Our model Barbara Justi, has the fresh, young, teenage girl face, with beautiful double eyelid and deep set eyes. She is also bubbly and has a sweet smile. We started off with a clean, minimal makeup look to suit the photographers’ 1st concept, casual lifestyle kinda shots.

Then we moved on to something more sultry and sweet look. A light Taupe shade was blended just below her brow bones and a medium brown over her creases and outer corner of her eyes. Then followed by shimmery Rose Gold shade applied over her eyelids to open up her eyes and bring out its beauty. Black gel eyeliner drawn along her lash lines and a chocolate brown eyeliner pencil smudged on the lower outer corner of her eyes, completed the sultry eyes look. You can easily achieve this look with Sleek’s I-Divine Oh So Special eyeshadow palette 😉

To give her sultry look a hint of sweetness, our makeup artist, Veron custom mixed 2 lipstick with shades of Passion Fruit and Dragon Fruit together for a pink lips that brings out Barbara’s charm.

For the rest of the shots, we did minor changes to her look, i.e. lips, hair, that instantly gave her different vibes.

If you feel like channeling Gothic Chick, why not try a dark lips, i.e dark wine shade?

Feeling sexy? Red lips will never go wrong! How about pairing it with big hair? 😀
